- Exodus 1: The midwives feared God more than Pharaoh. Courage to do right begins with reverence for God.
- Exodus 2: God hears the cries of His people, even when it seems nothing is happening. He never forgets His promises.
- Exodus 3: God is the eternal I AM, needing nothing and never changing. Jesus later says, 'Before Abraham was, I am' (John 8:58).
- Exodus 4: God doesn't call us because we feel able. He promises to be with us and teach us what to say.
- Exodus 5: Obedience to God doesn't always make life easier right away. Bring your confusion honestly to Him, as Moses did.
- Exodus 6: God's 'I will' promises do not depend on how strong our faith feels today. He redeems because He is faithful.
- Exodus 7: Each plague showed that the LORD alone is God, over every false god of Egypt.
- Exodus 8: Even Pharaoh's magicians recognized God's hand. Hardening your heart after God shows mercy is dangerous.
- Exodus 9: God's purpose is that His name be declared in all the earth (Romans 9:17). Say 'I have sinned' and mean it.
- Exodus 10: God's works are meant to be retold. Share with the next generation what God has done for you.
- Exodus 11: God distinguishes those who belong to Him. In Christ we are kept safe by His grace.
- Exodus 12: The blood of the lamb brought protection. Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:7).
- Exodus 13: God leads His people step by step and never leaves them, day or night.
- Exodus 14: When you're trapped with no way out, the LORD can make a way. He fights for His people.
- Exodus 15: Praise God for past rescues, and trust Him in the next bitter place. He is both Savior and Healer.
- Exodus 16: God provides daily bread, and He teaches us to trust Him one day at a time. Jesus is the true bread from heaven (John 6:35).
- Exodus 17: Even Moses needed others to hold up his hands. We are meant to support each other in prayer and battle.
- Exodus 18: Telling others what God has done can lead them to worship. Wise leaders share the work instead of wearing themselves out.
- Exodus 19: God calls His people to be His own and to be holy. Believers today share that calling (1 Peter 2:9).
- Exodus 20: God saved Israel first, then gave His commands. Obedience is our response to His grace, and it starts with putting Him first.
- Exodus 21: God cares about justice in everyday life, protecting the vulnerable and making punishment fair.
- Exodus 22: Remember where God brought you from, and show the same kindness to strangers and those in need.

- Exodus 25: God's great desire is to dwell with His people. In Jesus He came to live among us (John 1:14).
- Exodus 26: The veil showed that sinners could not freely approach a holy God. At Jesus' death the temple veil was torn in two (Matthew 27:51).
- Exodus 27: The lamp was to burn always. Keep your devotion to God burning steadily, not just now and then.
- Exodus 28: Aaron bore the people's names on his heart. Jesus, our great High Priest, carries us before the Father (Hebrews 7:25).
- Exodus 29: God saved Israel so He could live among them as their God. That is still the heart of the gospel.

- Exodus 34: This is how God describes Himself: merciful and gracious. Time with Him changes us (2 Corinthians 3:18).
- Exodus 35: God loves a willing heart. Give and serve because your heart is stirred, not because you are forced (2 Corinthians 9:7).
- Exodus 36: Imagine a church that has to ask people to stop giving. Generous hearts are a sign of a revived people.
- Exodus 37: Each piece was made carefully for God's presence. Whatever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23).
- Exodus 38: Women gave up their mirrors to make a basin for washing. Sometimes devotion means giving up what we treasure.
- Exodus 39: Careful obedience in the details brings blessing. Faithfulness in small things matters to God.
- Exodus 40: Exodus ends with God living among His people. His presence is what made Israel different.
