Summary of Psalms 54
David writes when the Ziphites betrayed his hiding place to Saul. He asks God to save him by His name and hear his prayer, for strangers have risen against him. Then he declares, 'Behold, God is mine helper.' He promises to offer a freewill sacrifice and praise God's good name, for He has delivered him.
